News, Upcoming Product Previews & Feedback Request

Friday, September 7th, 2012

Naloomi’s Workshop is proud to sponsor Clash For A Cure 2012. This is an event taking place in Waco, Texas to help sponsor finding a cure for Cancer. As a sponsor I am providing a code to all participants that not only give them a discount but also 10% of all sales made from this event will be donated to American Cancer Society.

In product news, I am working on creating several new modern products for the store. The first item is a Jersey Barrier (also known as a K-Rail).

This piece is 2″ long just over 1/2″ wide. It’s designed with 25/28mm games in mind. I’m also working on 15mm version of this same design.

The second piece I’m still working on is a Construction Channelizer Barrel.

Above is the prototype design. I’m still debating on trying to put a handle on it, but it may be too fragile. At it’s widest (base) it is approximately 3/8″ wide and stand 5/8″ tall. Feedback on the handle would be appreciated.

What other ‘modern’ pieces or designs would you like to see? Do you want them in other scales like 30mm or 15mm? Please let me know in the comments section.

Need a builder…

Wednesday, June 8th, 2011

I have several of the Tiny Brick molds from http://www.keeblerstudios.com/. I sell casts of the Tiny Brick molds in my store, but I do not currently have any builds or kits made from them.

So I am after someone who is willing to take some free casts of the Tiny Brick pieces, make some builds, models, etc, (preferably with innards, but not required) and send them back to me. In exchange I’ll give you a couple resin copies of the finished piece, credit for the design on the store, and store credit.

If interested please contact me or reply here. Thank you.

Product Announcement: Large Ice Throne

Monday, August 16th, 2010

We are proud to offer the first in our line of Ice Cavern accessories. Up til now we have only offered Ice Cavern terrain, but now we’ve added a Large Throne made of ice to numb your senses.

This piece will retail for $12, but for the next week is on special for $10.

Ice Cavern Tests…

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Well, I’m moving into areas where I’m unsure in which direction I should continue with the ice cavern pieces.

Below is an image of the most recent sets of tests.

The 2 ‘cavern rock’ floor tiles are definitely going into the store. I would like feedback though on the 3 single floor tiles and the ice wall pieces.

Also, I’m looking for ideas on what else should be ‘iced’.  The next ‘piece’ I think I am going to ‘ice’ is a stone throne that was originally designed for the Descent board game.

Any other thoughts or ideas? Please send up some feedback!!

Ice Cavern Set C & Ice Cavern Floor – Now Available!!

Monday, August 9th, 2010

We are proud to offer our third set in our new Ice Cavern line. This set contains 2 corner pieces and a 2″ long wall / stair builder piece. The pieces for the stair builder will be coming later this week. Each piece of this set retails for $4, but can be purchased together as a set for $10.

Ice Cavern - Set C

We also now have our first set of Ice Floors available. This first floor piece is 4″ x 4″, has a ‘smooth’ texture, and retails for $8.50.

With the clear floor tiles you can add different color basing (I’m using 2mm royal blue Foamies) to change the type of floor that it is. Using green makes it look like slime.

Our second set of Ice Cavern floors should be available by next week.
