Ice Cavern Tests…

Posted by Naloomi on August 11, 2010

Well, I’m moving into areas where I’m unsure in which direction I should continue with the ice cavern pieces.

Below is an image of the most recent sets of tests.

The 2 ‘cavern rock’ floor tiles are definitely going into the store. I would like feedback though on the 3 single floor tiles and the ice wall pieces.

Also, I’m looking for ideas on what else should be ‘iced’.  The next ‘piece’ I think I am going to ‘ice’ is a stone throne that was originally designed for the Descent board game.

Any other thoughts or ideas? Please send up some feedback!!

I really like these. I think the block wall is a great system as it lets you add some “man made” areas to a cavern to make it look like someone was ambitious enough to carve out a place for him or herself.

The cavern floors are really cool. I don’t know about the fieldstone… it looks alright but don’t know if it would be more useful than the plain floors.

Thrones, tables, chairs / benches, etc… would be cool. Barrels, crates, chests? Maybe

Throne for sure. An altar too would be sweet. Of the 3 single floor pieces only the right one makes me tingle.

All that stuff should go into the store. It is sweet as hell, and something I’ve never seen anywhere else.
